Online leaks have revealed gameplay from a purported remake of Persona 3. The PlayStation 2 version of Persona 3, a highly regarded JRPG, has now been released on a variety of other systems by the game’s developer, Atlus.
Persona 3 is available in several variants, primarily Persona 3 FES and Persona 3 Portable, each having its own set of advantages and disadvantages. For instance, Persona 3 Portable gives players more control over how the battle unfolds by letting them command their party members during combat.
However, as players control a dot rather than the main character outside of dungeons, it lacks complete 3D movement. Fans have been requesting a complete remake of Persona 3 for a while now because each version has different strengths and flaws, and it appears that their prayers may have been heard.

According to TheGamer, Yukari Takeba from Persona 3 may be seen shooting an enemy with a string of arrows in the brief film, which was first posted by aikaangelica on Twitter. Later, the same account notes that the tape appears to be from a SEGA Japan internal meeting in 2021.
Although the video appears to be of great quality and resembles Persona 5’s animation and visual effects in some areas, there is always a chance that it was made by a fan. In light of this, players should be skeptical of any rumors or leaks and instead wait for a formal announcement from the publisher or developer.

Persona 3 remake rumors have been going around for a while, but Atlus hasn’t provided any information on the subject. Sony recently held several special events to commemorate the Persona series’ 25th anniversary, but nothing about a remake of Persona 3 came out of this occasion.
It may have been the ideal time to reveal this eagerly anticipated title, but fans shouldn’t discount these speculations just yet. Despite Persona 3 Portable’s January 2023 release on contemporary platforms, an insider has claimed that a Persona 3 remake is real.

The leaker claimed that by doing this, Atlus will be able to sell Persona 3’s portable edition before releasing a full-fledged remake, presumably with all the new gameplay elements and quality-of-life enhancements seen in Persona 5 Royal.
It will be interesting to see when and how Atlus decides to announce this game, assuming that these reports are accurate.
