An Overwatch 2 player shared a video of a Capture the Flag match in which their teammate Orisa employed a masterful tactic to secure victory. Overwatch 2’s Capture the Flag mode is a cooperative mode in which players work together to steal the enemy team’s flag and safely return it to their base.
If you don’t want to play in ranked matches, Overwatch 2 offers a range of casual game options. Overwatch 2’s classic matches are shaken up in these variants by introducing new team sizes and playing fields.
In most cases, these modes rotate daily and are meant to act as a warmup for players before more tough games or as a means to have fun with friends without any pressure. Until the end of the Lunar Year 2023 event, players can choose between two Capture the Flag game modes: the standard mode and the faster-paced Blitz option.
A Reddit user who goes by the handle “MOCbKA” in Overwatch 2 (Voice Recording) posted footage of their buddy Orisa making a spectacular play while playing Capture the Flag.
Orisa used her ultimate ability, Terra Surge, to pull four of MOCbKA’s opponents through the hole in the middle of the Oasis University primary battle site as MOCbKA, playing the tank hero Doomfist from Overwatch 2, arrived to grab the flag.
This cunning plan eliminated most of the opposition, leaving only Lucio to protect the flag from Doomfist. This fantastic Orisa plays made a point for the tank team since the hero captured the flag and took it back to safety.
Comments on the video showcased Overwatch 2 players’ attempts to replicate Orisa’s game-changing maneuver. On the Ilios Well map, most players who used this tactic fell to their deaths because they couldn’t catch their opponents.
The considerable risk of dying alone and wasting an ultimate ability is emphasized. However, some argue that this strategy might also work in Overwatch 2 competitive games. New Lunar Year 2023 in Overwatch is where you can play Capture the Flag until February 6.
Overwatch 2’s PvE mode has not been revealed, but Blizzard may talk about the future of its FPS at Blizzcon 2023, as the convention will return after a three-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 epidemic. You can now get Overwatch 2 on PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox One S.
