Ascendant Studios, a group of programmers who have contributed to critically acclaimed games like Dead Space and Call of Duty, is working on Immortals of Aveum. The game is set in a fantasy realm on the verge of extinction.
It is billed as a “groundbreaking new single-player, first-person magic shooter that delivers a visceral, cinematic campaign experience.” Moving away from the previous generation of consoles, it will be accessible on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC platforms.

Immortals of Aveum joins the ranks of other games that have previously emphasized independent creators as a part of EA’s Originals roster. The popularity of Wild Hearts, an adaptation of the Monster Hunter genre by Omega Force, has expanded the Originals portfolio to include works from bigger studios.
Although EA has not yet provided an explanation for this change, it might be related to the possibility of higher income from additional projects. There is no doubt that the gaming community is excited to find out more about this magic-infused, action-packed adventure from a great team of seasoned developers as they anticipate the Immortals of Aveum release video on April 13.
