If you pre-order the special editions of Mortal Kombat 1, you can gain early access to the game starting from September 14, 2023. The official launch of the game is scheduled for September 18, 2023.

Gameplay Of Mortal Kombat 1 2023 Remastered Edition
Although NetherRealm has not yet revealed any gameplay footage, the developer has confirmed that Mortal Kombat 1 will introduce a new fighting system, game modes, and bone-crushing finishing moves, among other features. One of the new systems is Kameo Fighters, which is not related to the Xbox 360 game of the same name.
Instead, Kameo Fighters is a distinct group of partners who can aid players during matches and are selected separately from the main roster of fighters.
The remastered edition of Mortal Kombat 1 aims to preserve the essence of the original game while incorporating modern enhancements to improve the overall experience. The gameplay will remain faithful to the original, featuring one-on-one battles in a best-of-three-rounds format.
Players can choose from the classic roster of seven playable characters, each with their distinct fighting styles and special moves.
The control scheme will be updated to accommodate modern gaming controllers, but the core mechanics will remain the same, with buttons for high and low punches, high and low kicks, and a block button.
The remastered edition will also retain the original game’s “juggling” mechanic, allowing players to keep their opponents in the air with successive attacks.
One of the most iconic aspects of Mortal Kombat 1, Fatalities, will also make a return in the remastered edition. These gruesome finishing moves will be updated with enhanced graphics and animations, adding a new level of brutality and shock value to the game.

Mortal Kombat 1 will be priced at $70 for PC, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Switch. This price will apply to the base version, while the Mortal Kombat 1 Premium Edition will cost $110 and the Kollector’s Edition will be $250.
