Fans of Modern Warfare 2 can now enjoy a blast from the past with Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3‘s latest addition. The game has introduced the JAK Wardens conversion kit, which transforms the Lockwood Mk2 marksman rifle into the famous Akimbo Model 1887 shotgun.
This update came with Season 3 Reloaded of MW3, bringing new modes and maps. MW3 has been getting a lot of support after its launch, especially with this update that lets developers add new versions of existing weapons.
Players need to complete five weekly challenges from Week 5 to get the JAK Wardens. Once unlocked, players can apply the kit to the Lockwood Mk2, turning it into a close match for the iconic Model 1887 shotgun.

However, it’s not as overpowered as the original Model 1887 from MW2, which some players might remember could eliminate enemies from across the map.
Recently, there was a bug with the JAK Wardens that caused bullets to travel incorrectly when both shotguns were fired at once. Developers fixed this quickly with a hotfix released on May 3. They also mentioned they’re working on fixing another bug in Warzone where reloads are continuously canceled for users of Automatic Tactical Sprint.
While the JAK Wardens are fun to use, they’re not as powerful as another conversion kit that turned the Haymaker shotgun into a beast with a 60-round capacity. This kit has been nerfed several times since its release to balance gameplay.
In addition to these updates, MW3 has also released the Devin Booker bundle, a collaboration with an NBA star. It’s available now for 2,400 CoD Points. Fans waiting for Kevin Durant’s bundle will have to wait a bit longer for it to return to the in-game store.
