There is a new SpongeBob SquarePants DLC for Minecraft. Thanks to its enormous economic success, widespread availability, and constrained potential, Minecraft is quite literally the biggest game out there.
Although the only real restriction on what you can do in Minecraft is your imagination, over time, the game’s developer Mojang has taken advantage of its economic success to forge a variety of partnerships with some of the most well-known companies in the world.
At first, this was mostly restricted to skin packs that let users play as Marvel superheroes, characters from other video game brands, and more, but it has since expanded to include special experiences within Minecraft that let you exist within these venerable franchises’ worlds.
The most prominent illustration of this is a SpongeBob SquarePants DLC. In a free update for this DLC, players can still visit Bikini Bottom and take part in a variety of activities that were modeled by famous scenes from the program.
New quests, vehicles, and even a free Patrick Star t-shirt for the character creator have been added to the SpongeBob SquarePants DLC for Minecraft.
Along with helping Pearl serve pizzas throughout Bikini Bottom and the Flying Dutchman find some treasure, the new objectives allow you to race and keep show-related vehicles. If you don’t already own it, this is the perfect time to do so because it has a huge free update and the DLC is only a few dollars.

It’s not clear if this DLC will continue to get updates like this, but if fans keep playing it, perhaps we’ll get more. Similar crossover DLCs exist in other Minecraft games, such as the Batman DLC.
It’s unclear whether that will get any upgrades, but given that a precedent has been established for it, it can’t be ruled out.
