With the release of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, many Hyrulean trends have altered, but the legendary Master Sword isn’t one of them.
The most recent Zelda game features a reappearance of Link’s evil-repelling weapon, which is still as gorgeous and potent as ever. Tears of the Kingdom’s Master Sword’s damage statistics are unknown.
However, you can make a good idea using it. Tears of the Kingdom maintains the iconic Zelda components made famous by its predecessors even though it uses new gameplay concepts.
This includes the Master Sword, a powerful weapon connected to Link’s identity that can fend off many forms of evil. It is also the only unbreakable weapon in the game, yet if used carelessly, it could run out of energy.
If you’re considering facing off against your enemies in the Tears of the Kingdom, it seems sensible that you’d want to know the hallowed Master Sword’s capabilities.
Don’t worry; we’ve covered everything we know about the weapon’s damaging figures below.
How Much Damage Does Master Sword Do in Zelda: Tear of the Kingdom?
The legendary Master Sword in Tears of the Kingdom does 30 base attack damage, much like in Breath of the Wild. Note that this only occurs after Link frees the weapon from the Light Dragon’s grasp; the gun was not in this condition at the start of the game.
A Twitter user @Soliveski_ shares a tweet:
Wonder if the master sword is more powerful in TOTK than BOTW, BOTW showed 30 damage and 60 when near a guardian or Hyrule Castle. Maybe TOTK Master Sword does 60 damage but that’s not counting fusing.

Testing the blade in-game will show you its damage stat. The solution to your question is not currently listed on the inventory page for Master Sword.
You might recall that in Breath of the Wild, completing the Trail of the Sword challenge mode, which was included as part of the Master Trials DLC, was the only method for Link to increase the attack stat of his primary weapon.
Nintendo, however, decided to make the upgrading procedure a little bit simpler in Tears of the Kingdom. How thrilling is it to “fuse” objects with Master Sword to increase its power? But first, you’ll also need to finish the In-isa Shrine to gain Link’s Fuse skill.
The Master Sword can be fused with various power-up items to boost its style and deal more damage. The object’s damage stat and essential characteristics are passed on to the blade when you fuse it with Master Sword.

If you combine the suitable materials, you will not only be able to possess a powerful Master Sword but also a stunning one.
While virtually anything can be fused with Master Sword (even mushrooms), for more potent fusions, consider seeking items like Diamonds, Blue Boss Bokoblin Horns, Blue Lizalfos Horns, Zonaite, and Bomb Flowers.
For instance, the Master Sword’s base damage will increase by 25 after being fused with diamonds, bringing the blade’s overall attack damage stat to 55.
Even though this significantly increases damage, adding diamonds will not give the edge additional elemental power. To top it off, fusion increases the legendary weapon’s toughness, enabling it to function for an extended period without recharging.
The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is available for the Nintendo Switch.
