This is because users will gain access to a flood of other features after purchasing a single piece of downloadable material. Nintendo confirmed that they would be putting out a lot of new tracks for Mario Kart 8 since there have been so many waves of ways over the years.

What Have Mario Kart 8 Booster Course DLC Tracks Been Published so Far?
There have been a total of three new waves of content that have been made available for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe since the game’s initial release. Confirmed Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Wave 4 Tracks
The Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass will get another eight courses from the series as part of the fourth wave of DLC. But, as of this writing, Nintendo has officially confirmed only Yoshi’s Island, a new course. In addition, Birdo, a Mario Kart: Double Dash character, is now playable.

Mario Kart Wave 4 Release Date For Window
Wave 4 of Mario Kart 8 downloadable content has not received a release date. At February’s Nintendo Direct, Nintendo said that Wave 4 of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe would arrive in “Spring 2023,” although no specific release date was given.

Generally, DLC releases occur every few months. According to Nintendo, all six shipments of downloadable content will be available before the year’s end. So there are still three waves to come, and it seems probable that Nintendo will stick to the exact release timetable as the first three waves, all of which came out in 2022.
