Overwatch 2 Unveils LE SSERAFIM Collab: Free Skin, New Mode And Extras

Overwatch 2 has unveiled a new teaser, which reveals a free Legendary skin for Junkrat, a new game mode, and additional content for the crossover event with K-pop group LE SSERAFIM. Overwatch 2, in yet another unusual cooperation for Blizzard’s hero shooter, will feature one of the game’s new K-pop sensations.

Overwatch 2’s seventh season began this month with a flood of new content for its gamers. The new Samoa Control map and Sombra’s overhaul are two highlights, while Roadhog will have to wait a little longer for his makeover.

Blizzard introduced a new battle style and a partnership between Overwatch 2 and Diablo 4, as well as themed material based on the action RPG, such as a new mode and skins. Blizzard is preparing additional news for Overwatch 2 players after pushing a crossover between two of its titles.

Junkrat Gets a Free Legendary Skin in Overwatch 2

Overwatch 2 has published a new teaser featuring Junkrat’s new Legendary skin as well as additional content for the collaboration event with K-pop duo LE SSERAFIM. The event begins on November 1st, and players will be able to obtain the Fawksey James skin for Junkrat completing challenges.

The hero emerges in this new look with a fresh haircut, gray attire, and a beanie with pink embellishments. In addition to a new free Legendary skin, Overwatch 2 will include new Legendary skins for Tracer, D.Va, Brigette, and Kiriko as part of the crossover.

Unlike their battle uniforms, the LE SSERAFIM skins transform the heroines into K-pop fans donning clothing featuring the group’s name and the title of the singer’s debut album, Fearless. Blizzard has not yet revealed the price of the skins.

The latest clip revealed five dancing emotes that will be available during the event, in addition to Junkrat’s free skin and another look at Tracer, D.Va, Brigette, Kiriko, and Sombra’s skins.

A new limited-time mode called Concert Clash is also included in the Overwatch 2 x LE SSERAFIM partnership. Players will engage in capture-the-flag fights in this 3v3 mode while the music video for “Perfect Night” plays on displays across the stadium.

Overwatch 2 players will witness even more of the singers when LE SSERAFIM performs at Blizzcon 2023, introducing their track “Perfect Night.”

LE SSERAFIM is a five-piece band from 2022 that has had songs including “ANTIFRAGILE,” “FEARLESS,” and “Sour Grapes.” The cooperation could be a clever move by Blizzard to get K-pop fans, who are known for their loyalty to their favorite groups, to play Overwatch 2.
