If you can believe it, The Last of Us was first released as a game for the PlayStation 3 in the year 2013, which is a very long time ago. It recieved a PS4 remaster approximately a year later, and that’s the version we’ve been playing ever since.

However, as it turns out, Naughty Dog wasn’t finished with their first foray into the series, and as a result, the graphics in The Last of Us Part 1 for PlayStation 5 have been completely redesigned from the ground up. Therefore, let’s take a trip across the past ten years and look at how the graphics of The Last of Us have developed and even been rebuilt.
