Jedi Survivor Gameplay
The action-RPG combat in Star Wars: The Old Republic: Survivor will be even more complicated than in its predecessor. The game’s director, Stig Asmussen, says Respawn uses the PS5 and Xbox Series X’s “advanced technology” to “create more dynamic Jedi combat.”
The fact that “Jedi: Survivor will expand on the series’ dynamic combat in new and innovative ways. In order to survive, Cal must learn new skills and grow his connection with the Force.” This means that new Force skills, new ways to fight with a lightsaber, and the ability to use a blaster will be added.
Respawn has also said that Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will have a broader range of enemies and that we’ll need to use our training well to beat enemies and solve mysteries on “new planets and familiar frontiers in the Star Wars galaxy.”
You can expect new skills, equipment, and abilities to give Cal more ways to fight and move. The studio has also said that the new environments will have more significant areas to explore and more chances to find hidden rewards.

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Trailer
The Star Wars Jedi: Survivor news was a surprise at Star Wars Celebration in 2022. The first trailer shows that the story will be darker, and Cal Kestis looks a lot older after being chased by the Empire for years. The trailer confirms that BD-1 will be along for the ride.
It also hints that the lightsaber we spent so much time making in Jedi: Fallen Order will be lost to the Inquisitors and that the Stinger Mantis ship will be taken out of service. Watch the official story trailer for Star Wars Jedi: Survivor.

Is Jedi Survivor Next Gen Only?
Star Wars Jedi: Survivor will come out on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X in 2023, Respawn has confirmed. Game director Stig Asmussen says that next-gen features like real-time ray tracing allow Respawn to work “at a fidelity that’s well beyond anything that we’ve ever produced before.”
The decision to drop support for PS4 and Xbox One will also allow Respawn to reduce load screens and times and invest in DualSense haptic feedback support for PS5.
