It’s always fascinating to peek behind the scenes of how games, movies, TV shows, comic books, and more are made. Today, we’re getting an early look at Assassin’s Creed Syndicate.
Assassin’s Creed Syndicate came out in 2015 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. It stars Jacob and Evie Frye, who are twin protagonists. The game is set in 1868, which was the end of England’s Industrial Revolution.
Some people don’t think of Assassin’s Creed Syndicate as one of the best games in the Ubisoft series. But I loved it, and many fans still appreciate its underrated open world.

The game was originally codenamed “Victory,” and from the early teaser, it seemed to have a darker, grittier feel compared to the final release, which became known as Syndicate.
In response to this early footage, Reddit users have been imagining what the game could have been. One user, KvasirTheOld, said, “Man, AC’s Victory could have been such a cool game. I like Syndicate, but I feel like it somehow lacked the gritty and dark atmosphere you’d expect for that period in England.”
