Immortals of Aveum casts players in the role of Jak, a skilled Battlemage, on a quest to save a world on the ‘edge of the abyss.’ The game features first-person spell-based combat that is fast and fluid, with magic at the heart of offense and defense.
Players can use all three magical forces imaginatively and will be rewarded for clever chained assaults and well-timed countermeasures. The game includes hundreds of items of magical gear to discover, improve, and construct and a vast array of Spells and Talents across three colors of magic.

Immortals of Aveum joins the ranks of other titles centered on independent developers as part of EA’s Originals roster. Ascendant Studios, a team of developers that have worked on critically acclaimed titles such as Dead Space and Call of Duty, is behind the project.
