It’s a perilous and expansive world in Elden Ring; each zone has its own loot and adversaries. Check out our boss guides if you’re seeking the best strategies to get past some of the toughest bosses in Elden Ring. The Snow Area in Elden Ring can be reached after completing the majority of the game if you’ve reached that point and want to explore further.
How To Get To The Snowy Area in Elden Ring
Gather the Rold Medallion and proceed to the Great Lift of Rold for easy access to Elden Ring’s snowy climaxes. A demi-god boss situated in Leyndell, Royal Capital, must be defeated before you can obtain the Rold Medallion.
For the most part, you’ll be able to get there simply by playing the game as designed. But there is another route to the icy area, which exposes a secret place where you can face Malenia, Blade of Miquella, in the first battle.

You’ll need the Haligtree Secret Medallion to get into this region. Both halves of this medallion must be collected. Upon returning to the Lift of Rold, you’ll find a secret door marked “Unlock Secret Area.”
You may find half of the medallion at the Albinauric Village. When you arrive at the Albinaurics Site of Grace Village, head straight up the hill on the right side after passing the Site of Grace area. You’ll find a large container on the right if you keep walking up the slope.
An NPC will emerge from this container if you attach the pot twice. Alternatively, you can murder him in order to obtain the first half of the medallion, which he will tell you about in detail.

Castle Sol is where you’ll find the second part of the Medallion. Stargazer’s Ruins can be found just a short distance from Castle Sol. Use the northern bridge to get to the Castle Sol Main Gate Site of Lost Grace, but beware of dangers along the way.
Activate the Site of Lost Grace near the knight who summons phantoms and then proceed straight ahead from then on outwards. The back door is where you’ll find it. It will take you to a set of steps and then, on the right, a building. Enter the building and use the escalator.
Take the stairs outside and look for a purple-colored object as you exit the building at the top. The second half of the Medallion is now yours. Stay tuned with us only on Game Empress
