What abilities does Blade possess in Honkai: Star Rail?
Blade, a five-star character specializing in Wind Destruction, wields the Wind element and possesses a skill set that excels in dealing massive damage. During the Honkai: Star Rail Version 1.2 “Even Immortality Ends” Special Program, HoYoverse provided a detailed overview of Blade’s capabilities.
Blade’s unique playstyle revolves around his ability to sacrifice his health points (HP) to unleash powerful attacks.
According to HoYoverse, here are Blade’s abilities at level 9:
- Normal Attack: Shard Sword – (Single Target) Inflicts Wind damage on a target enemy equivalent to 130% of Blade’s attack (ATK).
- Normal Attack: Forest of Swords – (Multiple Targets) Consumes HP equal to 42% of Blade’s maximum HP, dealing Wind damage to a single enemy equal to 52% of his ATK plus 65% of his maximum HP. Additionally, adjacent targets receive Wind damage equal to 26% of Blade’s ATK plus 65% of his maximum HP.
- Skill: Hellscape – Consumes HP equal to 30% of Blade’s maximum HP to enter the Hellscape state. While in the Hellscape state, Blade’s talent cannot be used, but his damage dealt increases by 36.5%. His primary attack, Shard Sword, is enhanced to Forest of Swords for three turns. If Blade’s current HP is insufficient, it will be reduced to 1 when using this skill. This skill does not regenerate Energy, and its usage does not end the current turn.
- Ultra: Death Sentence – Consumes 130 Energy. Sets Blade’s current HP to 50% of his maximum HP and deals Wind damage to the target enemy equal to 38% of his ATK plus 95% of his maximum HP plus 95% of the total HP he has lost in the current battle. Additionally, adjacent target(s) receive Wind damage equal to 19% of his ATK plus 47.5% of his maximum HP plus 47.5% of the total HP he has lost in the current battle. After using his Ultimate, the amount of HP lost in the recent fight is reset and re-accumulated, capped at 90% of his maximum HP.
- Talent: Shuhu’s Gift – When Blade’s HP is reduced, he gains one stack of Charge that lasts three turns, accumulating up to 5 stacks. Each time he is attacked, he can earn a maximum of 1 Charge stack. Once the maximum Charge stack is reached, Blade immediately performs a follow-up attack on all enemies. This follow-up attack deals Wind damage equal to 41.25% of Blade’s ATK plus 103.13% of his maximum HP while restoring Blade’s HP by 25% of his maximum HP. All Charges are consumed after unleashing the follow-up attack.
- Technique: Karma Wind – Immediately launches an attack on the enemy. Upon entering combat, Blade consumes 20% of his maximum HP while dealing Wind damage to all enemies equal 40% of his maximum HP. If Blade’s current HP is insufficient, it will be reduced to 1 when using this Technique.
