Hogwarts Legacy was released on major platforms in February of this year, allowing players to choose one of the renowned houses and embark on a magical journey in this vast open-world RPG. The makers had promised a Switch version, but after a delay, some fans were concerned that it would not materialize.
Of course, the game does not look as good as its equivalents on PlayStation/Xbox/PC, but going portable could be a terrific way to explore Hogwarts.
If you want to know when the downloadable version of Hogwarts Legacy for Switch will be available, Nintendo or the creators at Avalanche Software have not yet disclosed that information.
We might be able to find out when Hogwarts Legacy will be released on Switch by looking at the Nintendo support page that outlines when new digital games are introduced to the eShop.

Hogwarts Legacy Switch Gameplay Trailer
The promotional film gives fans a look at how Hogwarts Legacy performed on the Switch more than nine months after it was released on other platforms.

Hogwarts Legacy is a prequel video game based on the enormously popular Harry Potter books that takes place over a hundred years before the events of the original material. The plot revolves around a student who transfers to the titular School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and finds himself unwittingly entangled in the hunt for a mysterious old secret.
Apart from the eponymous school, Hogwarts Legacy includes other iconic locales from the Harry Potter books, such as Ollivanders, the Forbidden Forest, and Hogsmeade Valley. The premium edition of the game also contains a Dark Arts DLC pack that offers a Thestral mount, a one-of-a-kind cosmetic outfit, and access to a unique Dark Arts Battle Arena where players can try the infamous Unforgivable Curses early on.
