On Friday, October 10 at 10 AM PT, or Saturday, October 11 at 10 AM GMT for players in the UK, pre-orders will begin for this Hogwarts Legacy controller. The PlayStation Blog states that the Hogwarts Legacy DualSense controller will be available on February 10 in the UK, but not until February 28 in the US.
In Hogwarts Legacy, the DualSense controller’s haptic feedback and adaptive triggers are put to good use. There are many instances throughout Hogwarts Legacy where the controller’s built-in speaker is put to use in addition to the game’s signature DualSense features.
The critical acclaim for Hogwarts Legacy has been matched by its commercial success. With a whopping 489,139 players online at once, Hogwarts Legacy has quickly become WB Games’ most successful Steam launch to date.
This is just the number of people who paid for early access, and it’s expected to rise when the regular version of Hogwarts Legacy is released on February 10. How it stacks up against the likes of Cyberpunk 2077 and Elden Ring, two of Steam’s biggest single-player releases in recent years, will be fascinating to observe.
Additionally, on February 7, Hogwarts Legacy attained a new high watermark for concurrent viewers on Twitch with 1.3 million users. Overall, it looks like Hogwarts Legacy has been a massive success, and fans can expect it to be among the best-selling new games of the first quarter of 2023, and possibly the whole year.
If you’ve claimed your drops on Twitch, be sure to visit https://t.co/gcoP9122oj to also claim them there. Once you’ve claimed on both sites and logged in your drops should appear in game. #HogwartsLegacy
