Video from the Helldivers 2 beta server showed different new weapons, armor sets, boosters, and other features that will be added to the game shortly.
Helldivers 2’s fame exploded after its release, with hundreds of thousands of gamers battling evil forces across the galaxy, and people are already unlocking every weapon after dozens of hours of grinding.
As a result, the most committed Helldivers 2 gamers are already seeking for further unlocks. Given the game’s very limited weapon selection, with only a few guns in each category at launch, it’s not a surprise that players want more alternatives.
The good news is that the next Warbond will include some new weapons that could shake up the game, and some leaks have displayed what we can expect. Keep in mind that these leaks should be treated with a grain of salt because they are for in-development content.
Helldivers 2 Leaks
A Twitter story that was deleted containing gameplay on the development server has gone viral, including videos and photos of a variety of new equipment coming to the game.
First up, we have the new armor sets. There are no stats for these, but they are different from the current armor sets in the game. Except for the Hazmat suit, all of the armor appears to be less polished and neat than the majority of the other armor options in the game right now, and each one has some new mythology in its description.
As for the weaponry, you can read the official blog. Keep in mind that some of these leaks are incomplete because the information is still in development and everything has the potential to change.
Helldivers 2 Overrun: Players Smash Expectations, Summon Mech Armies, and Jolt Servers.
You guys like mechs. The long-awaited Helldivers 2 mechs came into the game earlier today, following the liberation of planet Tien Kwan, and it feels like the community’s excitement has once again eclipsed development expectations and server limits.
Hey everyone!
With the successful push from the community to take Tien Kwan and the subsequent enabling of the mechs our servers have a hard time coping, the team is aware and doing what they can to mitigate. This intermittent issue is caused by too many trying to acquire the…

In a tweet, Helldivers 2 director Johan Pilestedt said that gamers completed Tien Kwan and unlocked mechs “4x faster than we thought.”
It only took about a day to liberate the industrial planet, so maybe Arrowhead developers expected players to unlock the EXO-45s this weekend. Hell hath no fury like divers with a strong desire for large robots.
“With the successful push from the community to take Tien Kwan and the subsequent enabling of the mechs our servers have a hard time coping, the team is aware and doing what they can to mitigate,” Pilestedt goes on to say. “This rare difficulty is caused by too many people attempting to get the mech at the same time. Service will be restored later, but for now, I ask for your patience.”
Something is amusing about hundreds of thousands of gamers extremely grinding to unlock mechs, with hints of their impending robot greatness staring them in the face the entire time, only when they reach the land of promise and immediately mech out so hard that the servers buckle.
It’s really funny given that the Helldivers 2 servers have mainly stabilized in recent weeks. It just needed one new Stratagem and an insatiable desire for large robots to reignite the stampede. Godspeed, Helldivers.
