In GTA 6, it seems there will be a storyline featuring a serial killer. This might remind you of similar quests in Rockstar Games titles like GTA 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2, where there were also serial killers.
In Red Dead Redemption 2, the serial killer is portrayed as a vampire. While there’s no proof of any supernatural elements in GTA 6, it appears that this familiar quest style has made a return.
On the GTA 6 Reddit page, a user found something interesting in a leak from last year. In that leak, which included an early version of the game that became available online, videos were showing an event board of some sort.
In these videos, there were references to tourists who had gone missing during various in-game events. The leak also mentioned the possibility of finding these missing tourists, who were likely deceased, in locations such as a sunken car, a cave, and a junkyard.
In the Reddit post, “In one of the leaked clips we can see the dev accessing some sort of event board. There is a ton of interesting information on there, but one of them is the missing tourists event line featuring multiple events.”
A Reddit user named 2ln2auq2 commented, “Sounds like something similar to the letter scraps from GTA V.”
It’s important to remember that this information is directly from the game’s files, but it should be taken cautiously. This is mainly because it’s from a very early version of the game.
Rockstar Games has a reputation for removing content before the final release, often because it doesn’t meet their exceptionally high standards. To illustrate, during the development of Red Dead Redemption 2, they removed at least twelve hours of content.
In simpler terms, just because this content was planned for the game doesn’t guarantee it was created, and even if it was, it might not make it into the final game when it’s released.
Right now, Rockstar Games has not confirmed anything about this unofficial information.
