A recent leak regarding Genshin Impact has unveiled a fresh addition to Fontaine’s upcoming roster of characters. This new character is a Hydro Bow user hailing from the region.
Although Fontaine’s release is still a couple of months away, HoYoverse has already started giving glimpses of the following central region to be introduced to the world of Teyvat.
The recent Special Program broadcasts for the game have showcased teasers of the region, including a captivating video featuring Fontaine City in the Version 3.8 Special Program.
Leak rumours have also hinted at a plethora of content that will soon make its way into the game. Amidst the numerous leaks surrounding Genshin Impact’s forthcoming region, much attention has been given to the characters from Fontaine.
Leaks have strongly suggested the initial lineup of the new region, with Lyney and Lynette, who were previously revealed, being among the first playable characters.
Furthermore, additional information has surfaced regarding other planned characters for Fontaine’s roster, including Wriothesley, Freminet, and the Hydro Archon Focalors. And now, a fresh leak introduces yet another character from this Hydro-themed region.
A new character named Sigewinne has been unveiled through a recent post by prominent Genshin Impact leaker Tao, who shared images of her via fellow leaker videre.
The concept art showcases Sigewinne’s skills, revealing a swirling water vortex and a scene where she drops a tray of drinks, hinting at her possible role as a bartender character akin to Mondstadt’s Diona.
According to the post, Sigewinne is expected to debut in Genshin Impact as a four-star Hydro Bow character. However, Tao later clarified that the four-star rarity is speculative at this stage.
Sigewinne is part of a series of significant leaks that have emerged in recent weeks, divulging much of Fontaine’s playable character roster. Tao’s chart has compiled over 20 planned characters for Genshin Impact throughout the Fontaine cycle.
Leak information has also indicated the arrival of characters from previous regions in the game, including Mondstadt’s Dahlia and Inazuma’s Chiori. It’s worth noting that Sigewinne’s release is not anticipated to be part of Fontaine’s initial patches, as most of the character lineups for those patches have already been revealed through leaks.
The abundance of characters from Genshin Impact’s latest region aims to significantly expand the game’s roster, following a relatively quiet conclusion to the Sumeru cycle.
In Version 3.7, only one new character, the four-star Dendro character Kirara, was introduced with the launch of Inazuma. Surprisingly, the upcoming Version 3.8 was disclosed to be the first update in Genshin Impact’s history that will not include any new party members.
However, players can anticipate the arrival of fresh characters upon Fontaine’s debut, making the new region an enticing prospect for those seeking to enrich their character collections.
Genshin Impact is currently accessible on PC, PS4, PS5, and mobile devices, with a Switch version under development.
