Players can better understand the locales they will soon explore, thanks to this latest leak. Although Genshin Impact has yet to fully unveil all the explorable locations in Fontaine, trailers and leaks have already revealed several points of interest scattered throughout the region.
The initial teaser trailer showcased different areas within Fontaine City, the principal capital of the province. Moreover, official concept art and upcoming trailers have teased additional places, such as a fishing village and a prison.
One exciting aspect confirmed for Fontaine’s launch is the introduction of diving and underwater mechanics in Genshin Impact. This promises to add a new layer of exploration and adventure to the game.

After its debut in Version 3.0, Sumeru is set to receive three updates that will progressively enhance and expand its desert area. Similarly, Inazuma will see the addition of multiple new islands to its Japan-themed archipelago, including the vast underground region called Enkanomiya.

The region offers over 100 Hydroculi to collect upon launch, providing upgrades for the regional Statue of the Seven. Additionally, Fontaine will introduce the newest elemental variant for the main protagonist, featuring the Hydro Traveler’s abilities, which have already surfaced in early leaks.
