Ten new characters from the next major region, presumed to be Fontaine, have reportedly been leaked from the upcoming Genshin Impact. Following Mondstadt, Liyue, Inazuma, and the newest addition, Sumeru, this will be the fifth major nation to settle in the world of Teyvat.

Ten new character models have been posted on the official Genshin Impact Leaks subreddit, all of whom will likely be available in the final game. Lynette and Lyney (1st and 7th from the left) are possibly the only confirmed characters, as they appear in the game’s official plot trailer trailers.

A new Genshin Impact Archon, which will most likely act as the region’s primary guardian, will also be introduced at this time. Her name is Focalors, and reliable sources say she sits third from the left in the position. According to canon, Fontaine’s Archon is also called “the God of Justice.”

Her appearance matches the rumored inspiration for Archon, a character named Seele from the third installment of the Honkai Impact series. It’s not the first time Genshin Impact has taken inspiration from HoYoverse’s second best-selling game; numerous playable units, like Raiden Shogun, Noelle, Yae Miko, and many others, have direct analogs in the other game.

Since water is a symbol of Fontaine, the new Focalors will be the Hydro Archon. Not much is known officially about this extraordinary place, which prioritizes law and science above everything else. Fontaine’s model from the first beta has just been leaked, revealing that the new region’s capital city might be tied to a vertical platform.
