People are blown away by Fortnite’s new Creative 2.0 update, which is even better than Call of Duty in some ways. It’s hard to say that anyone ever thought it would become what it is now, especially since it started as a tower defense game that didn’t get much attention.
But things took off once Epic Games switched to a battle royale game. Fortnite became a juggernaut when it started getting massive crossovers with notable film and gaming franchises, making this cool virtual toy box possible. Things grew even more with the Creative mode, which gave players tools made by Epic Games to make whatever they wanted.
Epic Games has released an update to Fortnite called “Creative 2.0,” which is just crazy. It’s incredibly well-made and lets players make things more detailed and in-depth. It enables you to make your games. Epic Games has released its content to show people what’s possible.

One of the maps/modes blowing people away is a typical PvP shooter mode set in a way that seems to be inspired by Rust from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. Many people are wondering if Call of Duty can even compete with Fortnite at this point.
Even though they are very different games, Creative mode’s possibilities could mean that people could make something that directly competes with Call of Duty. We’ve already seen this happen with a fan-made Roblox game mode that made Call of Duty fans go crazy.
If Call of Duty players are already looking at Fortnite just one day after this new update, before any die-hard fans have had a chance to blow people away with the possibilities, the Call of Duty franchise will start to feel some pressure. Fans aren’t happy with how new content is being added and are worried about the franchise’s future, so that Fortnite could be a suitable replacement.
