A fresh leak suggests that Fortnite and Capcom are getting ready to work together once more to introduce Resident Evil skins to the battle royale.
The chance is now primed to return to the legendary survival horror series with the release of the Resident Evil 4 remake in late March.
Previous Capcom and Fortnite partnerships have also been incredibly successful, as evidenced by the numerous Street Fighter skins and even a previous Resident Evil collaboration. Do You Know the release date of street fighter 6?
It should be interesting to keep an eye out for the upcoming Fortnite/Resident Evil crossover. As previously said, this won’t be the first Resident Evil partnership to appear in Fortnite.
Capcom first added two Resident Evil 2 skins to Fortnite back in October 2021. The two skins featured variant versions of Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine from various video games.
Oddly, the skins’ release didn’t correspond with the debut of any particular game. The year has seen the launch of Resident Evil Village. Fans of Resident Evil were grateful nonetheless.
Despite how well-liked Chris Redfield and Jill Valentine are, they aren’t the only well-liked Resident Evil characters.
According to the most recent Fortnite leaks, Capcom will introduce Claire Redfield and Leon Kennedy to the battle royale next.
Although the attire for each character hasn’t been decided upon yet, fans can anticipate at least two alternative looks for each one.
The skins weren’t given a release date, but the leaks suggested they will appear in Chapter 4 Season 2, which begins in early March.

To be clear, the partnership has nothing to do with Resident Evil 4. It’s a more generic alliance than the initial Resident Evil and Fortnite agreement.
Given that Resident Evil 4 appears to be releasing around the same time, it is most certainly a cross-promotional effort. Most fans will at least anticipate a Leon Kennedy Resident Evil 4 style.
Many people may disagree with the choices for this round of Resident Evil 4 Fortnite skins, but few would contest that Leon and Claire were the best options.
One of the most well-known Resident Evil characters, if not the most, is Leon Kennedy.
Together with Jill, Claire is undeniably one of the most well-liked female characters in Resident Evil, however, Lady Dimitrescu may currently enjoy greater popularity.
There are still many other alternatives that Capcom may take into account providing Fortnite skins in the future. It seems certain that a Wesker skin would appear, possibly with Lady Dimitrescu.
Strong contenders include Ada Wong, HUNK, Rebecca Chambers, and Ethan Winters. Fans of Resident Evil can anticipate Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield’s arrival in Fortnite soon for the time being.
