To keep things exciting and fair for its player population, Fortnite frequently modifies its selection of weapons. The launch of Chapter 4 Season 3 late last week gives Epic Games the ideal opportunity to roll out new weaponry while removing ones that have given gamers trouble.
We now know that the Fortnite team has replaced one assault gun with another in a decision that has divided some fans. Fans of the Red-Eye AR may be disappointed that it was Vaulted, but most people are content with the MK-Alpha AR, which is its replacement.
Hypex, a reputable Fortnite leaker with a long track record, provided the news on Twitter. We’re not discussing a leak in this instance, of course. The Red Eye has already vanished from the arsenal.
The modification was made today, and some fans are disappointed they won’t be able to use the scoped rifle in the battle royale. Despite this, many players who responded to Hypex’s first tweet appeared pleased with the modification because, at least at this point in the season, the MK-Alpha seems to be a little more balanced.

Fortunately, it won’t be easy to obtain because the MK-Alpha will replace the Red-Eye in the shared loot pool. Since it spawns randomly, trying it out won’t require much work; you’ll only need to watch for it.
You’ll notice immediately that the MK-Alpha fires more frequently than the Red-Eye but reloads slowly and deals less damage per shot. Simply put, the Alpha is more concerned with quantity than quality regarding ammunition, but you’ll need to make those rounds count, or you’ll be left hanging as you reload.

Fans have undoubtedly seen other changes in the game during the past few days, too. As mentioned, Chapter 4 Season 3 debuted last Friday and introduced the Wilds to Fortnite.
To do that, Epic and Transformers collaborated to add Optimus Prime as a battle pass skin to the game. In addition, with the season only getting started, we should expect even more changes in the near future.
Fortnite is available now on Mobile, PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
