Ubisoft announced a 60fps update for the Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 in honor of Far Cry 5’s fifth birthday. This update, which is currently accessible, is applicable to every mode in Far Cry 5. The solo campaign, co-op mode, Arcade (Far Cry 5’s map editor), and all DLC are all covered by this.
Edwin Evans-Thirlwell referred to Far Cry 5 as a “competent yet conflicted open-worlder” in the 2018 review.
“The first installment to be set in North America, Far Cry 5 is Far Cry at its least engrossing, clumsiest and most basic, though there’s still just enough going on here to keep a returning fan involved,” he wrote at the time.

He was more complimentary of the game’s Arcade mode, though. He even referred to it as the “heart” of Far Cry 5.
