Bethesda has shared exciting news about Fallout 4 and its big update for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. This update was announced in 2022 but has been delayed until now. It’s free and will come out on April 25.
The update will give you versions of the game designed specifically for the new consoles. You’ll also get to choose between Performance and Quality modes, offering smoother gameplay and better graphics.
If you’re still playing on PS4 or Xbox One, you’ll get a free update too, focusing on fixing bugs and improving quests.
The PC version will get support for widescreen and ultra-widescreen displays, along with fixes for modding tools and quests. Fallout 4 will also be available on the Epic Games Store and will work on the Steam Deck.
The update will add new story content, like the “Echoes of the Past” quest involving the Pre-War group called The Enclave.
It will also include previously released Creation Club content, such as special weapon and armor skins, like Enclave designs and powerful gear like the Tesla Cannon and Hellfire Power Armor. There’s even a Halloween Workshop with lots of spooky decorations for your settlements.
Recently, Fallout got its own TV show on Amazon Prime, which people seem to like. Bethesda is thinking about Fallout 5, but it won’t be out soon.
