The 2024 Summer Game Fest showcase has ended after showing lots of new games, trailers, and surprises. The presentation was full of almost every type of video game from the whole industry.
During the two hours of the show, they featured games of all different kinds. Some exciting moments included first looks at new games like Lego Horizon Adventures, Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions, and all the new games from Blumhouse Games. Everything Announced at Summer Game Fest
Here are the latest updates from the 2024 Summer Game Fest:
- Lego Horizon Adventures: Aloy from the game Horizon will be in a co-op world later this year. It will be available on PC, PS5, and Nintendo Switch.
- No More Room In Hell 2: This game is a follow-up to a zombie-smashing game that came out 13 years ago, from the developers of Chivalry. It’s like Left 4 Dead.
- Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions: This game will be available on September 3 for consoles and PC.
- Cuffbust: This game is from the developers of Choo Choo Charles. It’s about alien mice trying to escape from jail.
- Star Wars Outlaws: The trailer confirms Lando before the Ubisoft Forward gameplay reveal.
- Neva: This is the next game from the indie developer who made Gris in 2018. It’s a serene platformer where you have a sword.
- Civilization 7: It’s confirmed and coming to PC and consoles at the same time next year.
- Black Myth: Wukong: The collector’s edition is $400 and includes a 40-centimeter figure.
- Once Human: This open-world survival game will be released on July 9.
- Metaphor: ReFantazio: This RPG boasts over 40 jobs that change your characters.
- Batman Arkham Shadows: This game is exclusive to Meta Quest 3 and has a new story trailer.
- Tears of Metal: This game was announced as a medieval hack-and-slash co-op roguelike.
- Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero: It will be released on October 11.
- Delta Force: Hawk Ops: A PC global alpha is coming in July, featuring Black Hawk Down missions.
- Fatal Fury: City of Wolves: This game is coming in 2025.
- Battle Crush: Early access is coming in June.

- The First Descendant: This game will be released on July 2.
- Among Us: The developer launched a publishing arm, OuterSloth, and announced a TV show with a star-studded cast.
- Sonic X Shadow Generations: It launches on October 25.
- Dune Awakening: This game has an alternate history storyline and is based on the books and films.
- Battle Aces: It’s an RTS game aiming to bring the core fun of the genre to everyone.
- The Finals: It will be in Kyoto on June 13.
- Alan Wake 2: Night Springs DLC: It’s coming on June 8 and adds something missing from the core game.

- Hyper Light Breaker: It’s coming in early access later this summer.

Lego Horizon Adventures is Coming to PlayStation 5
The highly anticipated Lego Horizon Adventures game started the Summer Game Fest. It showed Lego versions of Aloy and the robot dinosaurs that fans know well. The first footage of the game revealed a Lego adventure that’s more family-friendly compared to the mainline games from Guerrilla Games.

It looks like players can team up in co-op mode with a friend. The footage also hinted at customization options. Lego Horizon Adventures will be available on PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store, as well as on Nintendo Switch and PS5 this holiday season.
Harry Potter Quidditch Champions
Harry Potter fans who enjoyed Hogwarts Legacy last year can now look forward to Harry Potter: Quidditch Champions. It will be available on PC through the Epic Games Store and Steam, as well as on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox starting from September 3, 2024.
No More Room in Hell Early Access Launching this Halloween
No More Room in Hell 2 is bringing its first-person shooter zombie gameplay to Early Access this Halloween. The gameplay for this gory action game shows intense combat against terrifying enemies who will do anything to defeat you.
The trailer revealed dismemberment mechanics and several weapons. It also hinted at an eight-player co-op mode in a world designed for lots of replaying.
New Star Wars Outlaws Teaser Trailer Showcases Additional Gameplay
Ubisoft’s first try at making an open-world Star Wars game, called Star Wars Outlaws, appeared at Summer Game Fest 2024. They showed players a new action-packed trailer.
The trailer quickly showed scenes from the game, set in space, and Kay Vess, the main character, went through places both old and new while avoiding the Empire. We’ll find out more at the next Ubisoft Forward event. For now, Star Wars Outlaws is set to come out on August 30th.
Sid Meier’s Civilization 7
The next game in the Civilization series is finally official. Sid Meier’s Civilization 7 is coming soon.
This grand historical strategy game will make a return. It’s a turn-based game where you build cities, explore, and conquer. You might lose a lot of sleep playing it when it comes out in 2025 on PC and consoles.
Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero to be Released in October
Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero will bring intense Super Saiyan action to PC via Steam, PS5, and Xbox Series X | S starting October 11, 2024.
The latest preview of this anime spinoff game showcases epic battles featuring iconic characters such as Goku, Frieza, Buu, Vegeta, and more. Those who pre-order will receive six early character unlocks, including a mystery fighter to play as.
Batman: Arkham Shadow Trailer Unveils VR Gotham City
The Meta Quest 3-exclusive game, Batman: Arkham Shadow, has finally been revealed. DC fans can now see the younger Batman and the new dangers he faces. The new video of this VR game was shown at Summer Game Fest.
It shows a Bruce Wayne who might look familiar to fans of the Arkham series. The trailer introduces the Rat King as the main villain and includes a few hidden surprises for fans of Gotham’s other criminals.
Street Fighter 6 to Feature Fatal Fury Crossover
More Street Fighter 6 content is coming soon. Capcom will add four new characters in Season 2. This season will be very exciting. Two new characters from the game Fatal Fury, Terry, and Mai, will join the fight. Classic Street Fighter characters M. Bison, with a new look, and Elena will also be added. The new content will be released throughout the year.
