Bethesda Game Studios and Bethesda Softworks are responsible for creating and publishing The Elder Scrolls, an action role-playing video game series. The games in this series are notable for their open-world design and emphasis on freeform gameplay.
Several video game publications have named Morrowind, Oblivion, and Skyrim their Games of the Year. More than 58 million copies of books in the series have been sold so far.
Unveiling the Mysteries of Tamriel: The Elder Scrolls 6 Location and Map Edition
Every region of Tamriel has been theorized as a potential setting for the game. High Rock, Hammerfell, Morrowind, Cyrodiil, and Skyrim are all distinct regions within the enormous continent of Tamriel, and they have all served as the backdrop for previous games.
Most people would expect to visit a brand-new region in Elder Scrolls 6, given that the game’s name indicates it is not a remake. We’d be down to Elsweyr, Valenwood, the Black Marsh, and the Summerset Isles. However, information leaks suggest that it could have occurred in a different location.
The Elder Scrolls Twitter account shared a map of Skyrim in 2020, detailing three scandals: one on Hammerfell, one headed toward High Rock, and one north of Skyrim.
Fans of Tamriel, however, report seeing nothing beyond the city of Skyrim. Considering how well-connected the games are, this could be a clue that Tamriel will grow.

High Rock and Hammerfell are the only remaining possibilities, given this clue. While all of them have appeared in previous Elder Scrolls games, the picture’s description alludes to “the past” and “the future” as possible clues.
Some believe an easter egg for The Elder Scrolls 6 could be found in the Starfield trailer shown at E3 2021. The tweet gets a little more faith from the fact that a scratch in the game is suspiciously the same shape as one of the land masses between Hammerfell and High Rock.
Elder Scrolls 6 Available on Multiple Platforms
Many people have different opinions on what systems Elder Scrolls 6 will be available for. Microsoft acquired Bethesda in early 2021. Some titles were said to be coming to other platforms, namely PlayStation, at the time.
Starfield, another upcoming Bethesda game, will only be available on Xbox One and PC. It’s still possible that PlayStation could get Elder Scrolls 6, but it’s not looking good. Elder Scrolls 6 will, at best, launch in a beta form on Xbox One and PC, with a full release to follow.
A Switch port of the game is a distinct possibility at this stage. However, The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim’s delay is an excellent example of the hardware limitations of the portable console hybrid.
Time will tell what else can be revealed about Elder Scrolls 6. We know that the game’s development continues; Bethesda has many other projects.
