The video game Dungeon Drafters will launch on PC (through Steam) for the first time on April 27, 2023, according to DANGEN Entertainment and Manalith Studios. 2023 will see the release of the remaining versions, which include the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
In Dungeon Drafters, players take on the role of teenage explorers who are eager to investigate suspicious-looking ruins that may contain the key to putting an end to all evil. The very last spell deck that will permanently shut the door on evil will win because players will be fighting with spell decks.
Deck building and tactical combat are combined in the mystery dungeon adventure game Dungeon Drafters, which also features vibrant pixel visuals and roguelite aspects. Play as a young explorer eager to investigate historic sites on a mission to purge the world of evil and prohibited cards.
Using your spell deck, engage in turn-based combat to unleash amazing combos that obliterate the battlefield. Gather rare cards, unearth treasure, find missing explorers, and then go back to town to be ready for your next run.
Explore more as you assemble the perfect spell card that will permanently expel evil from the planet. Each of the six playable characters has a distinct starting deck that directs the player’s initial playstyle. This gives battle and strategy a unique flavor while also advancing the player’s development of the various archetypes.
For instance, whereas the Brawler can fling adversaries with “Fling” or trap them with “Binding Palm,” the Mage starts off with long-range magical assaults like “Flamering” and “Quake” and can convert enemies into frogs with “Hex.”

Regardless of your initial choice, you are free to change your mind and play the game with whatever deck you like. The dungeons that can be explored by players include Misty Grove Ruins, Magma City, Glacial Library, Lost Wreckage, and more.
When the conflict starts, both the player and the enemy engage in tactical tile-based combat. Each turn, the player has three action points, which they can use to move, play a card, or strike an opponent in melee range.
To avoid danger or to respond with a powerful move, hover over the enemy to assess their assault range and keep an eye on their next move. Defend yourself with a “Stealth” card, build a “Barricade,” leap out of the way with a “Vault,” or use a “Polymorph” card to transform a stationary object into a friendly monster.
Push an enemy into another for added damage, or root an enemy in place before crushing it with a stalagmite. Survival in a dungeon depends on using the surroundings and exercising creativity.
