Destiny 2: The Witch Queen Raid Major Updates
While people have pondered over general updates, many people are looking forward and hoping for more significant updates. Here’s everything that we know for now –
One of the most extensive updates is that Bungie has decided to decrease the number of “blue drops” in the Witch Queen Raid update.
For those who are unaware, Blues are rare weapons and armour but are usually not of any use for the most part. They are helpful for when players are levelling up initially, but after that, they stay in the players’ inventories and take up space.
Hence, this update is beneficial as it will declutter the stocks and make management easier for players. They can navigate in a clutter-free inventory and supply up on more things.

Major update about Banshee 44
Banshee 44, the gunsmith, is also about to undergo significant changes for The Witch Queen Raid. He is all set to get his reputation back on track, like how Zavala and Shaxx got before him.
Players will level up Banshee-44 and earn some rewards by completing specific bounties. This can also be done by dismantling Legendary or Exotic weapons.
Another significant update is that players can now buy mods with Glimmer. Vendors will be given the option to sell four mods instead of the usual two per day.
Master Rahool, Banshee-44’s neighbour, is also set to solidify his position in the new The Witch Queen update. He will take over Spider’s resource store and sell Enhancement Prisms and Ascendant Shards.
Banshee-44 and Ada-1 will no longer be selling these items, but the cost won’t be affected even after entering Raahool’s inventory.
However, players keen on spending resources to keep their engrams will still have to go to the HELM.
Update on Xur aka Where is Xur This Week
A fan favourite, Xur will get more limelight in the new update. Xur will get a new batch of Hawkmoons and Dead Man’s Tales every Friday.
This is because the Harbinger and presage missions will go away on February 22nd.
The Catalysts for these weapons, which help increase their potency, will also drop from the playlist activities. The same will follow for the Catalysts of Ager’s Scepter, Outbreak Perfected, Whisper of the Worm and The Fourth Horseman.
Other updates to look out for
The studio has promised some rework for the new updates. Many assume it will be the return of the two missing maps we had to face when Prime went away.
People are also hopeful that Bungie will someday turn these Prime roles into mods that players in the mode can use. However, these are all basic assumptions, and Bungie hasn’t explicitly stated anything about these things.
