Developers While it’s true that IRONMACE has focused mostly on PC, releasing a number of free playtests for players to try out on Steam in preparation for the 1.0 release of Dark and Darker, console gamers shouldn’t give up hope just yet.
Dark and Darker Console Release Date: Will Console Versions Be Released?
Although there has been no official statement regarding PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and Xbox One support or development, a fan was able to coax a response out of IRONMACE on Twitter, and it appears that one of the team’s goals is to make Dark and Darker available on both PC and consoles.
The latest build of Dark and Darker is playable for free on PC until the end of Steam Next Fest on February 13. This version of the game features a new experimental solo region called The Goblin Caves, which is ideal for beginning players.
