Hohokum, a popular game on PlayStation, is now available on Steam. The surprise release of Hohokum on Steam is a big deal for fans of the PlayStation game.
The game, which was first released on PS3, PS4, and PlayStation Vita in 2014, was announced at Annapurna Interactive’s 2022 Showcase. It is now for sale on Valve’s PC store for £7.99/$9.99.
On the Steam page for the game, it says that Hohokum will have the original soundtrack from the 2014 release, which was made in collaboration with Ghostly International Records and received a lot of praise at the time.
Annapurna’s updated description of the game says, “Take on the role of a curious flying kite-like being and visit colorful, strange worlds just waiting to be found.”

“You can interact with characters and environments to find out secrets, or you can just wander around at your own pace and be surprised by what happens.

“Hohokum has goals and things to do, but at its core, it is a playground where you can wander around and get lost.”
The game was made by the UK studio Honeyslug, and players control the Long Mover, a multicolored snake that flies through each stage.

The game doesn’t have clear goals, a tutorial, a score, or a time limit, and it doesn’t move in a straight line.
Instead, the game is about trying out different things and interacting with the different things in the 17 worlds to see how they work.
At the time, Hohokum was criticized for not having enough depth, but it was generally praised for its slow pace and unique minimalist art style.
