Cult of the Lamb: In recognition of the community’s dedication, Cult of the Lamb has released a sneak peek at the features that will be included in the game’s first major content update, scheduled for release in the first half of 2019.
The update will improve many aspects of Cult of the Lamb, including the game’s combat by adding a new attack type and reworking some of the game’s bosses.
With over a million copies sold in its first week, Massive Monster’s Cult of the Lamb was an instant phenomenon upon its August release.
The game’s adorable art style, in which small animals engage in bloody combat, is reminiscent of Happy Tree Friends, and its combination of roguelike dungeon crawling with base building and colony management attracted players from all over the world.
An excellent opportunity exists for downloadable content and content updates to expand on the player’s ability to construct their own cult sanctuary with a wide variety of buildings and populate it with a wide variety of cultists who can be customised to their liking.
Cult of the Lamb is celebrating another successful year by giving players a sneak peek at upcoming content and holiday gifts. Until January 5, you can take advantage of the game’s biggest sale ever and obtain the penguin and lion follower forms through Twitch drops.
One of the most notable changes in the upcoming Cult of the Lamb update is the introduction of the Heavy Attack mechanism. If you hold down the attack button, your weapon will perform its own special heavy attack.

The sword has the ability to knock back entire waves of foes, the axe can be thrown like a boomerang, and the dagger can unleash a hail of sharp blades.
Additional care will be given to the bosses in Cult of the Lamb, on top of the increased depth from heavy attacks.
Massive Monster didn’t provide any concrete details, but the boss fight against Barbatos was shown with some visual changes and the developer promised there would be plenty of compelling reasons to rematch the bosses.

The team is currently implementing player feedback to add new features that will increase the game’s depth, difficulty, accessibility, and overall quality of life. However, before the big update is released, a new set of fixes will be implemented at the start of the New Year.
Players who vote for their favourite games in each of the 11 categories can earn a unique badge for their profile, and Cult of the Lamb is nominated for the Steam Awards in the Outstanding Visual Style category.
On January 3, 2019, voting will end and the winners will be announced. You can get your hands on Cult of the Lamb for PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox One X.
