Season 2 of Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone is set to launch on February 7, marking the next significant upgrade for Activision’s enormously popular shooter.

Modern Warfare 3 season 2 and Warzone season 2 will start simultaneously on Wednesday, February 7, in all parts of the world. Here’s when it will be available in your time zone:

Based on the scheduling of previous Call of Duty seasons, the season 1 mid-season update should arrive approximately 24 hours before the stated times, allowing you plenty of time to download.
What’s New in Season 2 of MW3?
Season 2 of Modern Warfare 3 offers several new maps, modes, skins, weapons, and Operators for use in both the game and Warzone.
Activision has also announced many midseason drops. You can read about all of the changes on the Activision blog, but we’ll highlight the most significant ones below.
MW3 Season 2 and Warzone Season 2: New, Returning, and Mid-Season Maps
Season 2 will include three new 6v6 maps: the Zakhaev International Airport Departures area, a Bay Area Stash House, and Vista, a Brazilian mountainside resort. A fourth map, a remastered version of Das Haus, will be released mid-season.
Two different multiplayer maps for Airborne and Skidgrow will be released in the middle of the season.
And War Mode will get the new Operation Tin Man map, which takes place in (and around) a skyscraper.
In Warzone, players will return to Fortune’s Keep.
Warzone Season 2 Game Modes
This season features five game modes. There will be three options available at launch:
- Team Gun Game in which each participant progresses through a progression of eight distinct weapons by getting kills with each tier.
Snipers Only - Hordepoint
The other two game modes are mid-season drops:
- Juggermosh is a free-for-all based on Juggernauts.
The player with the most kills will be marked as a high-value target by the bounty system.
New Weapons in Warzone Season 2
There are four new weapons for season 2, two of which are only accessible on Battlepass.
- BP50 assault rifle (Battlepass)
- RAM-9 SMG
- SOA Subverter battle rifle
- Soulrender melee weapon
