After an almost 76-hour grind following the game’s release, a Modern Warfare 3 player has unlocked the most coveted weapon camo in the game.
Reidboyy, a Call of Duty broadcaster, unlocked the Interstellar camo live with 75 hours and 46 minutes on the clock and 14,000 kills – all while wearing the expensive Nicki Minaj character skin.
The Interstellar camo is regarded as the most difficult to get in Modern Warfare 3 owing to the amount of time and effort required to complete all of the game’s Priceless camo challenges.
That entails finishing all of the camo challenges for all 36 weapons (pistols, grenade launchers, melee weapons, and so on) that are currently available in the game. Some of these tasks are exceptionally difficult, such as completing a specific amount of longshot kills with a weapon.
What makes the Interstellar camo so desirable? Its animated visual effect is intended to make weaponry appear to be from a galaxy-filled universe.
Reidboyy spent much of the grind in Modern Warfare 3’s War Mode, taking advantage of the game’s extended objective-based gameplay to farm kills on rapidly spawning players. The last kill, which sealed the deal, was a long shot.
Reidboyy answered questions on X/Twitter from people who were astounded by how quickly he was able to pass some of Modern Warfare 3’s most challenging missions.
I didn’t get it fast, I ran around with it for 16 hours looking for claymores with engineer 🙂 https://t.co/rHl0vQXkLK

You’d think Reidboyy would want to relax now that the Interstellar grind is done, but in a YouTube video, he stated he’s already on to the next challenge: Borealis, the ultimate camo in the Zombies mode.
I heard there’s more camos to get still pic.twitter.com/TFgBcTYPzr

Modern Warfare 3 got off to a rocky start. Activision was compelled to remove many multiplayer maps from the game due to spawn spots that were causing total devastation after its single-player campaign was universally criticized. Those maps are still out of rotation for specific modes after the game’s first weekend on sale.
Activision has also been pressured to remove an “invisible” premium skin that gamers are having difficulty spotting on select multiplayer maps.
