The season 5 update of Battlefield 2042 is expected to bring forth some significant quality-of-life enhancements. One of the biggest gaming flops of 2021 was Battlefield 2042.
As EA had positioned it as a return to the Battlefield heyday but with some fresh twists like 128-player battles and slightly futuristic concepts, it had all the hype and momentum a game could ever want going into launch.
Although it had a stunning appearance, as soon as it was released, it was panned for being broken and having some extremely unpopular design choices. Although the game wasn’t great, DICE spent much time fixing and altering it so players could now more easily enjoy it.

DICE has hinted at what players may anticipate from the forthcoming season 5 update, indicating they are still dedicated to this game. DICE provided a preview of the upcoming major update in a recent tweet.
Fans should anticipate adjustments to specialties like Dozer and Irish, modifications to vehicle loadouts, developing vault weaponry, and adjustments to squad management and orders.
Currently, it’s unclear exactly what this stuff will look like, but since it’s being teased, we probably won’t have to wait long to find out. Next week, as we start a new month and get closer to the premiere of season 5, it’s likely that we’ll learn more, but it’s still unknown.

In any case, it’s fantastic to see DICE continuing to support Battlefield 2042 and improving the game almost two years later. We don’t currently know when the game’s support will end. The upcoming game from DICE has not yet been revealed.

Even though some fans would undoubtedly enjoy a new Star Wars: Battlefront, it seems unlikely. Perhaps there will be another Battlefield game, but the details of that game’s design remain a mystery.
