Following a puzzling leak discovered on the Microsoft Store, a significant announcement regarding Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon may soon be made. Armored Core 6 was announced during The Game Awards 2022, but FromSoftware and Bandai Namco haven’t revealed much about it since then.
The game’s release is still scheduled for 2023, but some fans are concerned that a delay may occur soon. Armored Core 6’s most recent leak would suggest otherwise. During The Game Awards 2022, a trailer for Armored Core 6 was displayed.
The most current video game by FromSoftware, Elden Ring, took home nearly ten trophies at the ceremony, including Game of the Year. As a result, it was a great chance to announce the upcoming FromSoftware game.
The date “2023” appeared after the trailer. Since then, no other information on Armored Core 6 has been publicly disclosed, leading fans to wonder if the reveal was made too early.
Armored Core 6 news may be on the horizon, according to a recent leak discovered on the official Microsoft Store. A new work of art was recently added to the Armored Core 6 Xbox profile. It was found primarily on the Xbox’s Armored Core 6 pre-install loading screen.
It shows an Armored Core mech that is prone and primarily damaged. A ruined city’s ruins can be seen all around it. The debut trailer for Armored Core 6’s sixth installment shows a solar flare-caused apocalypse that appears to have set the heavens above it on fire.

The pre-install page also mentions that Armored Core 6 has been updated to version 2.1.0.1. Although the version displayed doesn’t necessarily represent anything, the fact that it has a version number might be a sign of Bandai Namco’s intention to suggest something in the future.
While there are a lot of “maybes” in that statement, Armored Core fans have more than enough to be anticipatory about. Of course, one hopes that Bandai Namco is getting ready to officially announce the release date for Armored Core 6—an improvement of a month and a day over the existing vague 2023 launch window.
Fans of Armored Core would be overjoyed, even if it was merely a gameplay reveal. If that is the intention, the central question is when Bandai Namco might reveal information about Armored Core 6.

Before the avalanche of information in June, Bandai Namco can try to generate interest. Armored Core fans will undoubtedly anticipate learning more about Armored Core 6 in the coming two months.
