Arcade Format Graded Combat And Other Features Will Be Added To Multiversus Season 1
Warner Bros Games had previously announced that Season 1 would begin on August 9, and on the same day, Morty would be arriving as the game’s 18th playable character. Both of these events are scheduled to take place on August 9.
In addition, it was revealed that his animated counterpart Rick would also be joining the cast at some point during the course of Season 1’s broadcast.
However, as a result of the setback, Warner has not yet announced when the new season of content for its unexpectedly successful fighting game will become available.

Fans of Rick and Morty, not to mention MultiVersus players who have already completed the Preseason Battle Pass and are waiting for Season 1 to begin, will undoubtedly have to hold out for longer as a result of this delay; however, it does not appear that the release order of these characters will be altered in any way as a result of this change.
Tony Huynh, the director of game development for MultiVersus, confirmed a week ago that the MultiVersus Season 1 Battle Pass will consist of 50 tiers and will cost somewhere in the neighborhood of $10 or £8.
The current Preseason Battle Pass, which was only supposed to run for two weeks until today’s announcement of a delay, consists of 15 tiers of character skins, profile icons, experience points, coins, and other cosmetics. Originally, the pass was only supposed to run for two weeks.
It includes a free option with earnable rewards that are available to all players, as well as a paid premium version that offers access to a variety of ‘exclusive’ cosmetics (although Warner Bros. Games has hinted that there “may be opportunities” to unlock them through other means in the future). This is similar to the structure of many Battle Passes found in other games.
