Nintendo Switch Games: September is shaping to be a watershed month for PC gamers, with the release of a slew of eagerly awaited games. In short, if you share your life with a warm and fuzzy gamer, you should probably avoid making any further plans with them for the rest of the year.
No one will see them except for their couch and cat. We have a lot to cover, so let’s get right into the games you can expect to play on your Nintendo Switch.
Ooblets- 9/1
Ooblets are a great way to start the month. This warm recommendation is a simulator that combines elements of farming, collecting creatures, and living in a town, where players can cultivate ooblets, compete in dance-offs, and make friends with the locals. If you enjoyed Garden Story, you’ll have a blast with Ooblets.
Disney Dreamlight Valley- 9/6
On September 6th, Disney’s “Dreamlight Valley” will be released. Disney Featuring classic and modern characters from the worlds of Disney and Pixar, Dreamlight Valley combines elements of a life simulation with those of adventure games. Before the Forgetting, Dreamlight Valley was a peaceful place where both Disney and Pixar characters could coexist.
Bear & Breakfast- 9/15
In Bear and Breakfast, you build and manage a bed and breakfast, but this time you play as a bear. A few hours before I started writing this, the official release date for Bear and Breakfast was announced. In just a few weeks, my partner and I will have the opportunity to give operating a bed and breakfast a paw.
Wylde Flowers-9/20
Tara invites you to join her on her emotional path to witchcraft in Wylde Flowers. Create your own version of the cottage-core lifestyle by farming daily and bonding with your coven through spellcasting at night. Get to know the Fairhaven residents and fall in love with the voice-acted actors as you solve a local mystery. Readers of the Story of Seasons books can look forward to simple pleasures by the end of the month.
Beacon Pines-9/22
Beacon Pines is a mysterious book that houses a cute and creepy adventure. Your roles in the game will be those of the reader and Luka, the book’s protagonist. This is the perfect game for any Twin Peaks fan, as it allows players to sneak out late, meet new people, learn the truth, and collect words that can alter their destiny.
Potion Permit- 9/22
To help convince the citizens of Moonbury of the benefits of modern alchemy and to cure the mayor’s daughter, the Medical Association has dispatched their most accomplished chemist, you. Earn their respect and care as they fall ill in this free-form simulation role-playing game.
Hakko Life-9/27
A community sim with a focus on warmth and originality, Hokko Life is a must-play. It’s time to leave the train and begin your new life in Hokko. The old workshop is yours, so move in and work designing the town with hand-made materials. What kind of town would you create if you had no restrictions on your imagination?
Life in Willowdale-9/27
Life in Willowdale is more involved than it first appears, combining elements of a town-building game, a farm simulator, and a role-playing game with open combat. Help fix the city, set up a bustling farm, and face some unexpected difficulties.
Lemon Cake-9/30
Fix up a dormant bakery and bake fresh bread and pastries from scratch. To satisfy your customers’ sweet tooth, you’ve opened a bakery where you can grow your own ingredients in the greenhouse, bake your pastries and sweets, and sell them directly to them.
Based on the gameplay style, I expect it to be like a more involved version of Little Dragon Cafe, a game I enjoy. Have any warm and fuzzy games already made it onto your September wish list? Which games do you plan to play on your Nintendo Switch first?
